The Annual General Meeting will elect your Branch Officers, Representatives and ratify the election of Workplace Stewards for the year 2020/2021.
The meetings have been organised on an aggregate basis on the date and venue listed overleaf. You are only entitled to vote at one meeting but are welcome to attend both.
The Preliminary Agenda is attached.
This notice also marks the opening of nominations for Branch Officers, Representatives and Workplace Stewards for the year 2020/21. A single nomination form for these positions is also enclosed. Please note, existing Stewards/Officers MUST also complete this form to be re-elected.
If you wish to stand for a position in the Branch, please ensure that your nomination form is properly completed and received by the Branch Office by no later than midday on Friday 17th January 2020.
If more than one nomination is received for a Branch Officer post, this will be subject to a contested election to be held from the 24th January 2020. The outcome will be ratified at the Annual General Meetings.
All meetings are fully accessible and refreshments will be provided. If you have any special requirements to enable you to participate in the meeting, then please contact me.
